What is a portable hard drive?
A portable hard drive is a device that is connected to a computer by USB and is used to store data, files and information. With storage capacities of up to 2TB, a portable hard drive can hold many more files than other storage devices and a computer internal drive. And, as it is small enough to fit in a pocket the device and its files can be taken anywhere and used with any computer.
An external hard drive is a useful piece of kit that can be used as additional storage, for backing up files and as your own personal cloud. And, by using portable hard drives, important media and files can be easily transported and shared with any device with a compatible connection.
